Alas, Productions is teaming up with MindMeld Productions to produce the world premieres of two full-length original plays by Thomas James Boudreau: If I Cleaned Everything and Arrangements.

Both shows will be presented at the Station Theatre in Urbana, Illinois on December 18th & 19th, 2026

If I Cleaned Everything is about two former high school sweethearts, ne’er-do-well musician Dan and go-getter lawyer Nancy, who are brought back together after a shared tragedy. Over the course of three scenes, separated by years of time apart, they drink, sing, and bicker, remembering why they fell in love, and why they could never hold onto it.

Arrangements follows Maggie Cote, a college dropout turned caretaker for her ailing mother, who is forced to confront if her life has been irreparably changed by the sacrifices and decisions she made while putting her aspirations on hold. Through several tense, tender, and explosive conversations with the three most important people in her life, Maggie gains clarity and insight into the decision she must make.

MindMeld Productions is a New York City-based theatre company that was founded in 2024 by Alicia Lion Januzzi (Resident Director), Thomas James Boudreau (Resident Playwright), and Jean Gordon (Resident Actor) with the goal of spotlighting new plays and creating performance opportunities for local NYC creatives. After their inaugural READING RAGER brought together New York artists from across the boroughs, MindMeld embarked on a journey to bring their new work across the USA with a successful three-festival run of the original one-act play, "If I Cleaned Everything".
